The Iosa Community is able to facilitate and lead a four day retreat as your Parish Mission.
This becomes a time to create within us fresh hearts, to set them on the higher gifts of faith, hope and love, and to share this joyful message with others. A typical outline for a Parish Mission looks something like the following. Of course, this can be tailored to suit the needs of the Parish:
Sunday
- Speak at all weekend Masses the day the Mission begins.
- 7.30pm – Evening Liturgy.
Monday
- 7.00am – Mass
- 7.30pm – Evening Liturgy.
Tuesday
- 7.00am – Mass
- 7.30pm – Evening Liturgy.
Wednesday
- 7.00am – Morning Prayer leading to Exposition throughout the day.
- 7.30pm – Mass and the Closing Ceremony
If you would like us to facilitate a Parish Mission for you, you can contact us through our website – may we all be blessed with God’s abundant love.

Faith, Hope & Love Mission (Est. 2010)
Sunday
We open our Mission tonight with the beautiful and powerful prayer of Taize. Taize is a faith community on the east side of France that regularly hosts up to three thousand young people on any given week during the summer. They gather in a celebration of life. This evening, we gather in much the same way as children of God and ponder on the words of St Paul…’There are three things that matter, faith, hope and love. The greatest of these is love.’ (1 Cor 13:13)
Monday
This evening we begin our journey of exploring the inspiring verse of St Paul in taking hope as our theme. Although we fall many times in life, we are encouraged by Christ to keep getting up again. Through prayer, movement, music and word, each one of us will have the opportunity to open our lives and our hearts to the healing power of God’s grace.
Tuesday
Faith is our focus tonight, faith in something greater than ourselves. Through the ultimate sacrifice, we are led to understand how and why God joins himself to humanity in order to redeem the world and complete His plan of salvation. This evening, we will be brought to a deeper understanding of God’s gift of Himself to us through the inspiring and emotive Divine Mercy, in song and picture.
Wednesday
Our Mission culminates tonight in a celebration of God’s love for the world. We gather in thanksgiving as we unlock the central mystery of our faith, the Eucharist. We will gently walk through this liturgy of liturgies, adopting a multi-sensory approach in order to renew and refresh us as we continue with our pilgrimage of life.
Family of Faith Mission (Est. 2013)
Sunday
We open our Mission tonight with a beautiful and powerful reflection on the gift of faith. This gift has been handed down to us through the centuries, many people having given up their lives to do so. This evening, we gather to reflect on this journey of faith, how it arrived at our own family and how it can transform us if only we let it.
Monday
This evening we begin our journey of exploring the mystery of the Trinity in the context of the Holy Family. Our focus is on the Father. Although we fall many times in life, we are encouraged by the Lord to keep getting up again. Through prayer, movement, music and word, each one of us will have the opportunity to open our lives and our hearts to the healing power of God’s grace.
Tuesday
Faith is our focus tonight, faith in something greater than ourselves. We journey with Our Lady and focus on the role of Motherhood. Through this journey, we are led to understand how and why God joins himself to humanity in order to redeem the world and complete His plan of salvation. This evening, we will be brought to a deeper understanding of God’s gift of Himself to us, through an inspiring and emotive praying of the Rosary.
Wednesday
Our Mission culminates tonight in a celebration of God’s love for the world through His Son, Jesus Christ. We gather in thanksgiving as we unlock the central mystery of our faith, the Eucharist. Jesus offered himself for us as the ultimate sacrifice. We will gently walk through this liturgy of liturgies, adopting a multi-sensory approach in order to renew and refresh ourselves as we prepare to continue with the pilgrimage of life.
