Short Testimony:
My upbringing gave me a deep foundation of faith. In 2004 my family faced tragedy when my brother Brian died in an accident and for a while I lost the peace that I had always taken for granted. My pain and anger tainted all that was important. In the end I made it through the dark because deep down I knew I was never alone, Gods word was a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Now I have found a deep peace that only prayer can bring. The Iosa community gave me a new hope for life. Being part of the community has changed my mind, heart and attitude. It means friends to share and pray with, who bring great joy and laughter to my life. It is never easy to lose someone you love so dear, but healing does come. Today, I am confident in the hope that my brother is in heaven. And while I live my life on this earth, I will keep trying to serve God because through His grace, my brother lives and is truly happy.

Favourite Iosa Memory:
On a pilgrimage to Lourdes we travelled to Pont d'Espagne to celebrate mass at the mountainside with beautiful scenery. Rebecca was signing "What Grace is Mine" while Maire played guitar. It was so peaceful, like heaven on earth.
